Drugs are refilled using a random method by simply placing them directly into the tray, saving time for other operations. The versatility of the trays also makes it possible to switch to generic products without the need to purchase additional trays, but by simply registering a change of information.

The system allows for dispensing medications in a bagged format, where picked injectable drugs can be placed into individual medication bags. The contents of the prescription can be printed on the medication bag. Bagging is done on a patient-by-patient basis (daily dose or single administration unit), and dispensing can be done into buckets for each ward.
